Baker Tilly (Luxembourg) joins Baker Tilly’s Benelux platform

Aug 31, 2026

Luxembourg, 31 August 2026

In a constantly evolving environment, we are continuing our development by strengthening both our cooperation within the network and our internal organisation.

Together with our Belgian and Dutch colleagues, we are therefore creating a Benelux platform. This closer alliance aims to strengthen cooperation and synergies among three firms that remain fully autonomous.

Within this framework, we are retaining our organisation and our teams, thereby preserving the continuity and close client relationships that are hallmarks of the support we provide.

Alongside this regional momentum, we are also evolving our partnership and governance structures to support our development and prepare for the next stages of our growth.

As part of this process, Jean-Claude Lucius and Jean-Philippe Mersy will gradually hand over their responsibilities and functions.

Four of our directors, Michaël Duval, Loïc Heinrich, Nicolas Meyer and Julie Ratajczak, are therefore joining the partnership.

A closer alliance built on a shared vision

This closer alliance has taken shape over time, based on a shared observation: our three firms support clients whose activities extend beyond national borders. They expect in-depth expertise in local markets, combined with the ability to manage international engagements.

The creation of Baker Tilly’s Benelux platform is the natural next step for a network of independent firms. Such a network grows stronger by organising cooperation among its members.

This closer alliance is designed to pool resources, coordinate investments and share expertise, while ensuring that each firm continues to make its own decisions locally.

Each firm retains its governance, teams, local roots and national decision-making authority. Once the transaction is completed, the platform will bring together 25 offices and approximately 1,500 professionals.

For our clients, this closer alliance translates into very tangible benefits: a single point of contact for engagements that span the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, backed by local experts across the Benelux and, where needed, the wider Baker Tilly International network. The platform also allows us to keep investing in the tools we use every day, including artificial intelligence.

The platform is supported by Inflexion, a minority shareholder, which is backing the investments required for its development: consolidating the accountancy and advisory market, strengthening the platform's market position, and investing in talent and technology.

Our teams come first

Our teams comprise approximately 110 professionals. They are the ones who deliver engagements, build client relationships and bring our expertise to life. The platform ensures that we can mobilise the right expertise, whatever our clients’ needs.

Four new partners

Four of our directors are joining the partnership, which now has nine partners:

  • Julie Ratajczak is responsible for payroll, international employee mobility and personal taxation, a practice area we intend to develop further;

  • Michaël Duval advises international clients, start-ups and investment structures, and leads the digitalisation of our tools;

  • Loïc Heinrich supports clients with accounting and financial matters, including valuation, consolidation, business plans and restructuring transactions;

  • Nicolas Meyer supports private equity clients and investment structures, from vehicle set-up through to ongoing monitoring and reporting.

These four appointments are internal promotions, recognising careers built within our teams and reflecting our commitment to helping our people grow.

A governance structure with two distinct roles

The responsibilities of the Managing Partner role are divided between two distinct functions. Yannick Ravaine serves as Chief Executive Officer, while Arnaud Delalle chairs the Board. This structure supports our development while maintaining strong Luxembourg governance. Decisions relating to our clients and business lines continue to be made in Luxembourg.

“The Benelux platform gives us the resources to support our clients on broader engagements, without changing what defines our value: our proximity to clients and our knowledge of the Luxembourg market. That is exactly what we were looking for.”

Yannick Ravaine, Chief Executive Officer, Baker Tilly (Luxembourg)

“Appointing four partners from our own teams at the very moment we join the platform says it all: we are building our future with people who already know our clients.”

Arnaud Delalle, Chairman of the Board, Baker Tilly (Luxembourg)

“We have planned this transition over time, together with our partners. Jean-Philippe and I both started here as juniors, and we are handing over to partners who have built their careers with us. It is a source of great pride.”

Jean-Claude Lucius, Managing Partner, Baker Tilly (Luxembourg)
