Payroll Manager – Permanent Position – Full-Time

By joining Baker Tilly as a Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in the development of our Payroll team, supporting its ambitious growth. You will apply your expertise while further enhancing your leadership skills in a stimulating and ever-evolving environment.

💼 Your Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team currently composed of 3 Payroll Officers and oversee the entire payroll process for your client portfolio, ensuring the quality of services delivered
  • Ensure the accuracy of calculated salaries and verify calculations carried out by the team
  • Handle the onboarding of new clients
  • Provide tailored support to clients (start-ups, financial sector companies, and well-established SMEs), in close collaboration with our HR advisory team
  • Maintain strong, trust-based client relationships with a focus on responsiveness
  • Contribute to the business development of the payroll department

👔 Your Profile

  • Degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 6 to 7 years of payroll experience in Luxembourg
  • Strong general knowledge of payroll calculations, compensation package taxation, labor law, and social security regulations
  • Proficiency in the APSAL payroll software is an asset
  • Strong communication skills in French and English; German is considered an advantage
  • Desired qualities: attention to details, excellent analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills and team spirit, autonomy, ability to meet deadlines, strong service-oriented mindset, and a high sense of confidentiality
